China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Corporation (CPPE), a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), was established in 1970 to meet the ever-growing need for high-volume oil pipelines in China. Its headquarters are located in LangfangCity in HebeiProvince, fifty five kilometers from Beijing. CPPE is a major Chinese state-operated EPC contractor. Since being established more than thirty years ago, CPPE has continued to diversify its range of services to includeconsultation, surveying, engineering, and project management, in addition to EPC and turn-key projects involving construction of pipelines, storage facilities and many other kinds of related facilities.

Including projects both in China and abroad, CPPE has designed and constructed over 30,000 km of various medium, large diameter and long-distance pipelines and 505 storage tanks with total volume of 10.2millon m3. Thanks to these extensive projects CPPE accounts for nearly eighty percent of the pipeline market in China
